It's all in your mind / Totul este în mintea ta

. . .

I have a friend who use to say that "life is a misery" no matter who you are and what you do, you still have different problems that make you suffer, but I tell you that everything is in our mind and everything depends on us.
In vain we try to self pity unless we stand to make a difference in our lives, for as long as our thinking goes through violents features, we can't expect that the results should be a pleasant one.
And here I refer to everything we think, because in vain we try to seem good, if within us we can't get rid of some negative thoughts.
And I don't believe that I have to give you too many examples, because we've all encountered such things. When even if our behavior may seem non-violent, trough good words and somehow even  charming, if our thoughts towards a person are different from our words, that means that they have a negative motivation that tends to be harmful.
Instead if both the thoughts and our actions are motivated by compassion or the desire to be useful to others, without blaming or without too much thought, then we can say that the mind is freed from the evil and violent thoughts. With this motivation in our hearts, to do good, in the best case we can to help others and in no circumstances we should do them something bad, because in the end we will be the ones to suffer from our actions.
Therefore the best thing we can do when we are angry or someone is bothering us, is to stand very still like a log, and to imagine that our mind is like the ocean "... when it's stormy at the surface, in the deep the water is quiet and calm "; and there we must find ourselves, on the ocean bottom, until the storm passes away from the surface.
Because everything it's only in our minds and everything depends on us, in vain we respond to violence with violence, because then everyone would suffer and I don't believe that somebody wants to suffer.
